The Design Loft is a boutique studio run by designer Christine Duckett.
I have been surrounded by building plans and construction for as long as I can remember.
It was a natural progression to complete interior design qualifications which morphed into a business some twelve years ago.
‘The Design Loft’ is my latest enterprise. This space enables me to work on design projects and have textile samples on hand. Drapery and soft furnishings combine technical and aesthetic elements and bringing these requirements together is an area I am proficient at, and particularly enjoy.
Colour is my forté.
In 2022 we welcomed Lauren to The Design Loft.
She has a passion for all things in the design and creative world and has enjoyed a number of years experience working within the industry.
Lauren always has a great rapport with clients and understands the importance of listening to their brief and allowing their project to evolve from this. Essentially, her best interests are what is important to you, the client. She will always strive to achieve the best possible outcome you could hope for and has already shown the value she has added.
We are happy to work with the blank canvas of a new build and are just as comfortable with partial makeovers, incorporating existing pieces and repurposing your treasured objects, contemporary or traditional.
We have worked alongside established building firms to deliver their show home exterior and interior schemes, creating ambient spaces to the highest level.
Customer service is paramount. We pride ourselves on effective communication, a crucial skill. We deliver clients’ expectations, by combining our creativity, knowledge and understanding of the practicalities to their desired end result.
